Epoxy Potting Compound 111-047, Parts A & B
A Color Coded Version of Magnolia 3998, Parts A & B

DESCRIPTION

Magnolia's Compound 111-047, A and B is a potting system based on epoxy resins. When cured, this compound forms a highly flexible seal which protects electronic components even after repeated shocking from +250°F to -40°F. Because 111-047 is made from materials which are 100% reactive, there is very low weight loss and no tendency toward age hardening.

Compound 111-047 is often used with medium silica sand to reduce the cost of the potted unit. This system will remain fluid for several days after the parts A and B are mixed together. This feature along with the convenient 1:1 mix ratio will often eliminate the need for expensive metering and dispensing equipment. Magnolia 111-047, A and B is designed to be a color coded version of Magnolia 3998, A and B.
