DESCRIPTION

Magnobond 3106, Parts A & B is a two part epoxy compound used for sealing capacitors in automated production facilities. This product has excellent electrical properties, flame retardance, moisture resistance and a good combination of long pot life and fast cure.

     Viscosity:                Part A - 4,000 cps
                               Part B -   178 cps
                                  Mix - 1,600 cps

     Specific Gravity:         Part A - 1.5
                               Part B - 1.0
                                  Mix - 1.4

     Cure Schedule:            8-12 hours at 25°C or 5 to 10
                               minutes at 100°C or 10 to 20
                               minutes at 85°C

     Pot Life @ 25°C, 3 oz.    80 minutes

     5 Gram Gel, 85°C          5 minutes

     Shelf Life:               Part A - 6 months
                               Part B - 6 months

     SPI Classification:       Part A - 4   Part B - 4

     Mix Ratio:                Parts by weight, A:B - 100:12
                               Parts by volume, A:B - 100:18

     Stir Part A before using.

Eyes - Immediately flush Do not get in eyes, on skin eyes with plenty of water or clothing. for at least 15 minutes. Do not inhale vapors. Get medical attention. Wear rubber gloves & aprons. Skin - Wash immediately Use with adequate ventilation. with soap and water. Wash thoroughly after handling. Clothing - Remove clothing For industrial use only. and wash before reuse. Keep container closed. Do not reuse this container.
